3 Not-Christmas Music Channels For December
December has 11 holidays! Not just Christmas. In the effort to explore for my own personal curiosity and also, yours, (maybe, who knows), I chose playlists of non-Christmas holidays.
Hello Fellow Journalers!🖊️📖
Welcome to this month's music for journaling (or whatever else you use this blog post series for).
Before the pitchforks come for me, my family does celebrate Christmas. But there's so much more to December you guys! In the effort to explore for my own personal curiosity and also, yours, (maybe, who knows), I chose playlists of non-Christmas holidays. I only chose three, so this list is not all-encompassing. These music channels are in line with my typical choices, meant to be music that can be played in the background for journaling, writing, studying, or whatever else you use these posts for. (Folding laundry?)
First up is a Portuguese composer Miguel Berkemeier, that focuses on nature-inspired music. He's really talented! The man can play violin, guitar, piano and sing! This playlist centers on Yule, a pagan celebration of the Winter Solstice, honoring the rebirth and return of the sun. At the time of this writing his Youtube channel has 10.5k subscribers and he also has channel on Spotify.
Second is a background music focused for meditation. Bodhi Day is December 8th and a Buddhist celebration when Siddartha Guatauma achieved enlightenment. This baby Youtube Channel is called Free Your Mind Live From The Heart, and has just over 250 subscribers.
Last up is music channel called John & Snow, with the music video "🕯 Relaxing Instrumental Hanukkah Music • Calm, Festive, Joyful, Happy" of just over an hour playtime. This channel is just over the 1K mark! Congrats, and read on why THAT IS A BIG DEAL. Currently, you can listen to this channel's music on on Youtube.
When it comes to this blog post series of music, I truly put in the effort to find different music I enjoy listening to and sharing with you. This includes finding channels that are not auto-generated by Youtube, and thus supporting small businesses like mine. Currently, in order for small businesses to gain income from their Youtube channels, a subscriber count of 1000 is required. (There are other requirements, but we can leave that for another post). So if you like a music video, and the subscriber count is under a thousand, consider hitting that button and help that person behind the channel along! (Also, if you have a baby Youtube recommendation, let me know!)

I hope you liked these channel suggestions. As always, if you have preferred music to journal to, please leave in the comments!
