Hello Fellow Journalers!🖊️📖
Welcome to this month's music round up for your background journaling music needs! For this post, we will focus on Ukulele music 🎶🌴🥥.
Here's some facts you may or may not know about ukulele's:
- Ukulele means "jumping flea" in Hawaiian. (1)
- Great Britain has Ukulele Orchestra.
- Studies suggest that playing the Ukulele can improve hand-eye coordination, hones working memory, and enhances cognitive flexibility. (2) 🙄 Yes, I said it. If you've read my blog, you know I'm a sucker for science-y words. Plus, if you want to know how cognitive flexibility connects to journaling, read the massive post below:
First is BGM Channel on Youtube. As of this writing, you can also listen to BGM on several more channels: Music For Stores, Apple Music, Spotify, Music For Videos, and Amazon Music. This particular track runs 3 1/2 hours at slow, steady pace. For listeners desiring a soft, lento pace, this is an ideal track.
Next is a track from the Youtube Channel called Ukulele time. You can also find the musician on Patreon. The channel has over 700 videos and this particular track runs for one hour.
Last is the classic "Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole. If you've never heard of this rendition, I have unearthed quite the gem for you. This talented musician died too early at the age of 38 of a heart attack.
I hope you liked these channel suggestions and inspired to create some tropical-themed pages or journal about island dreams.
