The Flag
Exactly how it sounds, your secret journaling weapon has a little flag. Color-code the flags for an organizational method only known to you. Place them on the corner or sides of the paper, for easy access.
Bent Out Of Shape
Paperclips are wonderfully bendy. Choose a shape to contour to your heart's desire while adding to the theme of your journal page.
Hold Extra Memorabilia
Keep paperclips functional by adding more pieces to your journal. If you have a wire binding, you have the added bonus of using the paperclips to add a smaller page or notecard strategically within the journal.
The Perfect Circle
Use a paperclip to draw a perfect circle when flexing your artistic self.
Use It As Is
Maybe there's a particular part of your journal that was really important to you. Was it a memory, or thought you had that resonated strongly? Use the paperclip to indicate the page. That way you can immediately turn to the page, and read it all over again.
