Laurel Denise Project Planner Review

Hello Fellow Journalers!🖊️📖

This month I have to gush over something that I bought for the New Year and listen...

I always look at planners in the store and put them back down because they never seem to encompass my needs as an analog, pen and paper gal. So I then go back to my digital phone calendar which has been a clunky experience.

But the light has arrived! And it's my new Laurel Denise Project Planner. My life is pretty boring. I have no board meetings or super-powered pantsuits that will match with this magnificent planning device. But my heart skips so many beats just thinking about it, I just might need a pacemaker.

I really suffered in choosing between the Horizontal Weekly and the Project Planner. My husband stared in confusion while I went back and forth the entire evening trying to decide the best one I would make use of (first world problems, I know).

THEN I SAW IT.

The inserts.

LISTEN, those inserts that can pop in (reinforced with mylar, thank you!), and you can see your month and week, it is truly the best planning idea. I want to be able to list my week, my errands, my neglected to-do list that carries over from day to day and then check it off to feel oh-so-good about my productivity when I feel like I'm drowning in my own brain of endless tasking.

I also got the making memories insert pack, because for 5$, WHY NOT! Sections and page titles include: a customizable color wheel, 'my happy page' for your happiest moments, things I love, and so much more across the 4 front and back pages.

Here is the 2024 guided flip-through video. I got the exact one for 2025, in midnight, and it is so nice. I get to customize it to my heart's content with washi tape and stickers. They also allow you to choose between a Sunday or Monday start. ( A notable difference immediately is the cover for 2025 edition is plain, which I prefer, while the 2024 was title with the Laurel Denise Planner logo, which is also very classy, just not my preference, so I'm very happy with the change. The logo is now a title page, which makes the planner feel literary. Elevated. Bookish even.)

Planners are amazing chaos control devices. And I love how Laurel Denise taps in the need for personal and professional growth that naturally aligns with the use of these planners, especially the project one I picked. There are pages for project planning that you can see across the entire year, bimonthly, or biweekly page layouts. There are added blanks in the back as well, of undated project grids across 14 boxes that could correlate to 2 weeks, as well as grid paper and dotted paper.

And nope, not an affiliate. (yet! you never know!)
